Who are you?
We are two Swedish golf enthusiasts who believe golf clothing today are getting a bit too sporty. We want to combine that with cuts from the past and embrace the fine history in golf, not only as a sport, also as a stylist.
Why Missed Cuts?
Missed Cut is for all of us who love golf – whether we make the cut or not. We want to bring back the vibe of the game’s retro era and blend it with today’s style, through both new pieces and second-hand finds given new life. Our goal is simple: to make every round a little more stylish and a little more fun – no matter what the scorecard says. And if we miss the cut, at least we’ll do it in style.
Our story
There are about 8.1 billion people on earth. Out of those, nearly 20 million of us in Europe have at some point managed to hit that one perfect shot – you know, a hanging draw that bounces up by the pin and spins back for a tap-in birdie. For a second, you swear you can hear the applause from Augusta. That’s when we fall in love with golf, even though the very next shot usually reminds us why we’ll never play on tour.
The truth is, almost as many of us dream of playing with the world’s best as would actually miss the cut if we ever stood there. That’s exactly where we are. We’re just two of those millions who love the game, but who also know what it feels like to duck-hook one into the trees or leak one into the water. We’ve missed the cut – but we want to help ourselves, and others, feel like we made it.
Out of that feeling, Missed Cut was born. A brand for golfers who play as much for the joy, the community, and the style as for the score. We take inspiration from the retro era, when golfwear carried a natural elegance, and we want to bring that feeling back. Not just through new pieces, but by giving classic second-hand finds a fresh life on the course. It’s our tribute to both the history and the future of the game we love.
Missed Cut isn’t for the perfect players. It’s for all of us who play for the feeling, for the style, for the joy – because whether we make the cut or not, we’ll always miss it in style.
